Tim is a well-rounded finance professional with a track record of defining & implementing effective strategies, engaging teams and delivering transformational change. He has experience in multinational organizations, supported by excellent capabilities in cross functional / cultural cooperation and communication. As a dynamic senior executive he challenges and redefines the status quo. He has been very successful in several different industries and able to effectively act at different levels of the organization to stimulate a value driven culture. He is currently responsible for a team of 12 FTE and runs the Strategic Finance & Treasury activities at the Port of Rotterdam Group, these include but are not limited to Governance and Management of subsidiaries, Insurance Investment & Portfolio Management, as well as the following Treasury functions: Payments & Cash management, Liquidity management, Corporate Finance, Investor Relations & Financial Risk Management. Tim is also responsible for Distro Energy as CEO, a 100% subsidiary of Port of Rotterdam and the Accelerate to Zero Program which aims to accelerate decarbonization through an additional $3bn investment programme.
