VJ Idimadakala is a Director at S&P Global within the Commodity Insights business line, where he leads various Modeling teams in the Data Science division with a focus on ML engineering. In his current role, he works closely with the business stakeholders on strategy and requirements gathering, and with the development teams on the design, development, and delivery of innovative solutions for complex modeling problems. Mr. Idimadakala has led various development teams over the past 12 years within IHS Markit and was a Senior Software Developer developing geological interpretation software prior to that. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, India, and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University
