Sally Holton

S&P Global

Head of Business Operations

My career with S&P Global began in 2012 when I joined Platts to create the Business Controls & Quality team, in partnership with Editorial, to help them ensure they were meeting the highest standards of quality, controls and operational excellence within price reporting processes. I played a key part in Platts approach to IOSCO compliance and European Benchmark Regulation. In 2017 my role expanded to oversee Content Operations. When Commodity Insights was created, I was appointed to the OpCo to head the newly created Business Operations shared capability. This team provides operational leadership and services across the division, with capabilities including Risk Management and Governance, Business Line Learning & Development, Business Process Transformation and Operations. I joined S&P Global from an Operational Risk role at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Prior to that I held positions at HSBC and Credit Suisse, based in London and Singapore, in operational risk, strategic change and operations management. I am certified as a Lean & Six Sigma black belt. As an undergraduate, I studied Social Psychology at the University of Sussex.
