Visiting Fellow, Energy Security and Climate Change Program

Kunro Irié is a visiting fellow with the Energy Security and Climate Change Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C. His research includes energy security and supply chains in natural gas and hydrogen, and the effect of decarbonization on geopolitics. Kunro has a wide range of experience in the private and public sectors. He has worked on LNG projects in the Asia-Pacific region, power generation project management, and has also worked on a variety of trade and economic policy issues at the Japanese embassy in Australia.
