Chief Executive Officer

Narcís is Chief Executive Officer of Valia Energía since the launching of the company in late 2022. He has more than 30 years of experience in the power and gas sector at international level, and particularly in the Americas and México, where he has lived for more than 10 years. Prior to joining Valia Energía, Narcís worked for 17 years at Naturgy Energy Group (formerly Gas Natural Fenosa), the Spanish gas & power international conglomerate, where he recently served as CEO of Nedgia, Naturgy´s infrastructure company in the gas sector in Europe, and the largest gas distribution network operator in Spain. Before that, Narcís was CEO for Naturgy México, one of the largest gas and power companies in the country, between 2013 and 2020. From an institutional point of view, Narcís is currently member of the Executive Committee of the Asociación Mexicana de Energía (AME) and of the Asociación Mexicana de Gas Natural (AMGN). While in Europe, he was Vicepresident of Sedigas, the Spanish gas association, and President of GD4S, the European association for gas distribution companies, based in Brussels. In his professional career, Narcís has developed a variety of roles, from corporate roles in areas such as strategy, business development or M&A, to having full responsibly in managing energy companies with a focus on growth, on operational transformation and digitalization, on regulation and on implementing strategies to enhance the sustainability angle of natural gas energy business. He has had direct responsibility in projects, boards and management of companies throughout the Americas (México, Panama, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile), Europe (Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey), and Australia. He holds a BA in Business Administration, and an MBA for ESADE (Escuela Superior de Administración y Dirección de Empresas) in Barcelona, Spain.
