Project Manager, NPC GHG Study
Janice Menke is the Project Manager, National Petroleum Council (NPC) Natural Gas Greenhouse Gases Study, and is a member of the ConocoPhillips Low Carbon Technologies team.
She has more than 21 years of industry experience, including planning, strategy and portfolio management, subsurface, and operations.
Menke currently assists with leading the NPC study team working to define pathways and priorities options for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reductions across the U.S. natural gas supply chain. The team is comprised of employees from oil and gas companies, think tanks, environmental non-governmental organizations, Tribal communities, and universities.
Menke recently served as a Senior Technical Learning Advisor for Geosciences, Wells and Production Engineering, providing strategic learning and development solutions. She previously worked in multiple subsurface, production engineering, and management roles.
Menke earned a Masters of Science in Petroleum Engineering with a Certificate of International Petroleum Management from Texas A&M University and a Bachelors of Science in Geological Engineering from Anton de Kom University of Suriname.
