Tetsuo Yamada is Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration Corporation. Throughout his 40-year career in the oil & gas industry, he held a variety of executive assignments including Chief Engineering Manager in Saudi Arabia at Arabian Oil Company. In April 2006, he joined JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration Corporation, an upstream division of ENEOS Group, as an Executive Officer and led key development projects in US, Middle East and UK. Today, he oversees the company’s low carbon initiatives as a Chief Strategy Officer. JX Nippon is a pioneer in commercial-scale CCUS project, Petra Nova CCUS project in US, and is now committed to expand its capacities and capabilities in the Asia market.
