Samuel Eaton

Mr. Eaton is responsible for RWE’s Offshore Wind activities in the U.S.  Since joining RWE in June 2021, Mr. Eaton has led RWE’s entry into the U.S. offshore wind market including acquisition of seabed leases in New York, California, and Louisiana, securing multiple agreements to commercialise these investments and building an industry leading team to deliver these projects to the U.S. market. 

Prior to joint RWE, Mr. Eaton has spent nearly two decades in the energy industry in a broad array of positions ranging from strategic and management consulting, mergers and acquisitions, project development, and corporate relations.  Most recently, Mr. Eaton was employed by Eversource Energy in corporate strategy and development where he was responsible for leading the development of an electric vehicle charging network, energy storage facilities, completing the acquisition of an interest in the Deepwater Wind offshore wind portfolio, and supporting the development of multiple offshore wind projects in New England and New York. 

Mr. Eaton received a degree in Economics with honors from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA.
