Andreas Berthou is a Senior Vice President with Hitachi Energy and leads our global business for HVDC and HVDC Service, since October 2019. He first joined our company in 1999 and has extensive experience in the power sector, gained in different managerial positions for automation and communication systems as well as power transformers and high voltage products. Before taking his current role, he was the EVP and Head of the High Voltage Solutions Division at NKT Cables.Andreas holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden and a master’s degree in Business Management from Napier University in Scotland, UK
