Rebecca Boudreaux, Ph.D. is President and Chief Executive Officer of Oberon Fuels, a renewable fuels leader working to reduce CO2 emissions from the propane industry and transport renewable hydrogen more efficiently. She built the world’s first commercial renewable DME production plant and drove the first commercial sales of propane blended with DME. She has also secured partnerships with and/or investments from industry leaders around the world including Suburban Propane, Lipigas, DCC, Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks, and Ford. Dr. Boudreaux has performed research at MIT, Princeton University, and National Starch and Chemical, which ultimately led her to co-found Intezyne Technologies, a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on increasing the effectiveness of cancer treatments. She earned a B.S. in Polymer Science (magna cum laude, University of Southern Mississippi) and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering (University of Massachusetts). In 2022, she was named a top 10 Industry Innovator by Butane Propane News.
