Chief Operating Officer
Mohsin Khoja is the Chief Operating Officer of Chariot Energy. As a pioneer in the deregulated markets, in 2002 he cofounded one of the first independent retail electricity providers (Tara Energy) in Texas. After Tara Energy’s merger with Amigo Energy, Mohsin grew and established both Tara Energy and Amigo Energy as preeminent retail electricity brands. In 2006, he was quoted by the Honorable Governor Rick Perry as “a shining example of the success of Texas deregulation”.
After Tara and Amigo’s acquisition by Just Energy Group in 2011, Mohsin led the group’s flagship US South & West region with five distinct brands and over $1 billion in revenues in Texas, California, and Georgia. Mohsin has been part of Hanwha/174 Power Global’s leadership team since the establishment of Chariot Energy in 2020.
Mohsin graduated with a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from McGill University.
