Joselyn Lai is co-founder and CEO of Bedrock Energy, a technology start-up transforming the heating and cooling of buildings, using geothermal energy to radically reduce costs for people and the environment. Bedrock has developed novel drilling technologies that enable widespread, affordable, and accessible installations of carbon-free geothermal HVAC for urban real estate properties. Prior to Bedrock, she has built companies across all stages from inception and Seed up through acquisition, and her experience in sustainability & start-ups spans the United States and Latin America. Joselyn was previously a strategy consultant with Bain & Company, primarily focused on industrial M&A in the Private Equity Group and the Energy and Healthcare practices. She received her BA in Economics from Harvard University, with a research focus on sustainable agriculture.
