Emma has been investing directly in energy transition opportunities for the last 7 years and has 13 years of investing experience across a variety of asset classes and geographies. Her equity investments in energy transition over this time total over $1b with an additional $1.2b raised for co-investment capital and debt financing.

Emma joined the Argo team to focus specifically on the energy transition investment strategy bringing experience and networks from her background in sustainable investing and energy transition. 

Prior to joining Argo, Emma was a Principal with Vision Ridge Partners, a sustainable real asset private equity firm, where she led investments within the energy transition and mobility verticals and was an active director on the boards of portfolio companies Fjord1 and Earthrise Energy.

Emma began her career as an investment banking analyst with Macquarie Capital’s Technology, Media, Entertainment, and Telecommunications group. Following her time with Macquarie, she was an Associate on BlackRock’s special situations private equity team where she supported the underwriting and management of investments with a focus on real assets and specialty finance.

She received a B.A. in Finance and Government from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School
