Conway Irwin is a director for IHS Markit in the Financial and Capital Markets group, part of a dedicated research team that provides integrated climate and cleantech advisory research to the financial sector. Ms. Irwin has more than a decade of experience in energy and commodities markets as a journalist and analyst in both the public and private sectors. Her work at IHS Markit focuses on cleantech (solar, wind, hydrogen, batteries, and storage) and on the broader energy transition. Ms. Irwin holds an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and master’s degree from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. She lives in New York City.

    Long-awaited climate risk reporting rules from the US Securities and Exchange Commission issued in the days before CERAWeek arrived against the background of high expectations mixed with widespread consternation about the details of the rule.
