Managing Director - SLB Ventures

As the Managing Director of SLB Ventures since July 2020, Arindam Bhattacharya leads the incubation of new business ventures for the SLB New Energy (SNE) group including strategic CVC investments and partnerships, Focus areas for strategic investment include deep decarbonization technologies around low carbon hydrogen, critical minerals, stationary energy storage, carbon solutions, geothermal / geoenergy solutions and emissions management.

Arindam has led business and technology innovation for SLB in a global career spanning over 28 years, including past senior leadership roles as Corporate Vice-President for Strategy, Marketing & Technology, Global Product Line President for Land Drilling Rigs, Area President for Mexico & Central America, and Geomarket Manager for Venezeula and Caribbean. Specific areas of business impact over the past two decades include strategic and operational leadership in energy services across global markets, leading digital transformation of the drilling industry, and strategic leadership driving a balanced energy transition for a decarbonized future. 

Arindam has a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, India, and a Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, UK.
