With an illustrious background in energy and power, coupled with expertise in corporate and digital transformation, İhsan Erbil Bayçöl serves as the CEO at Enerjisa Uretim, a role he has expertly held since 2020. Under Bayçöl's insightful leadership, Enerjisa Uretim underwent transformative elevation, emerging as an innovative, tech-centric entity in the energy sector with a strong emphasis on sustainable and diversified energy solutions. Bayçöl's strategic foresight has been crucial in securing pivotal investments in renewable energy, expanding into Southeastern Europe, and initiating groundbreaking digital business models, positioning the company as a sector leader in sustainability and advanced green solutions. Prior to his current role, Bayçöl manifested transformative leadership as the Deputy General Manager at Enerjisa Uretim from 2018 to 2019, where he spearheaded transformative initiatives within thermal assets and IT. From 2008 to 2018, as the Strategy & Business Development Director at Enerjisa, Bayçöl played a critical role in the company’s demerger, executed acquisitions exceeding 5 billion USD, and directed efficient disinvestments and impactful power plant projects development. Bayçöl initiated his profound journey in the sector at ENKA Const. & Ind. Inc and progressed through roles at BP – BOTAS and Bechtel – Enka JV, supervising and fostering a plethora of power plant and petrochemical projects across diverse geographies.
