President, Technology Solutions Division

Mr. LeBlanc is responsible for overseeing Hyster-Yale’s technology-driven business units among which is the Heavy Vehicle Electrification Solutions unit.

Hyster-Yale, through its Nuvera subsidiary, has been a pioneer in the development of PEM fuel cell technology along with its industrialization and deployment into various lift truck platforms, container handling equipment, terminal tractors, and auxiliary power solutions.

Prior to joining Hyster-Yale in 2018, Mr. LeBlanc held several leadership roles in industrial companies, most recently with Valmont Industries where he served as Group President of its Engineered Support Structures division, after an expansive career at Lincoln Electric where he held the Regional President roles of Latin America, EMEA, and Asia Pacific. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Harvard University.

    The promise of hydrogen in helping decarbonize mobility has traditionally focused on fuel cell vehicles across the range of classifications, from passenger cars to light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles. Progress is continuing in these areas, along with the ongoing debates about delivery infrastructure and competitiveness via alternatives in various categories. Meanwhile there is increasing focus on other applications for hydrogen fuel cells in areas such as industrial machinery and mobile power generation.
