Ahmed Hashmi is a private equity investor and C-suite advisor, working at the intersection of energy transformation and innovation.

Over a nearly forty-year career in the energy industry, Ahmed held technical, commercial, and leadership positions with Amoco and BP, in the US, Europe, Africa, Latin America, and the Arabian Gulf, where he led the shaping and delivery of business outcomes underpinned by technological and operating model innovation. 

He has served on the Board of Directors of BP Exploration & Production Inc., Board of the International Centre for Advanced Materials in the UK, Board of the Energy Biosciences Institute at the University of California-Berkeley, and BP's Main Board Technology Advisory Council.
