Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Will Kain founded Avnos in May 2020 and serves as the Company’s CEO. He has nearly 20 years of experience in leadership roles at early-stage energy and water technology companies. Prior to launching Avnos, Will developed deep knowledge of the Direct Air Capture landscape at Rusheen Capital Management, a leading early-stage climate tech investment firm. He also built extensive water-industry experience as VP of Corporate Development at NanoH2O, a water desalination technology company that was successfully sold to LG Chem in 2015. Will started his career in investment banking and corporate finance after graduating from the University of Virginia.

    Avnos, Inc. | Water Positive Direct Air Capture of Carbon Dioxide

    Avnos is commercializing its novel Hybrid Direct Air Capture (HDAC) of CO2 technology – the only Direct Air Capture (DAC) approach that produces 5 tons of water per ton of CO2 removes and eliminates thermal input.  In this session, CEO Will Kain will outline the work that Avnos is doing to deliver the world’s best shot at getting to gigaton scale of carbon removal from DAC.
