Umut Ozdogan is the Group Director for Commercial and Sustainability at Corva. Umut has 20+ years of management, commercial, and project execution experience from 150+ energy assets around the globe. At Corva, Umut leads the development and execution of carbon solutions and beneficial water reuse engagements. Before Corva, Umut served as the Vice President for the QRI Group, where he led the company’s growth initiatives in 9 countries, execution of upstream asset transactions, and strategic energy advisory projects for Fortune 500 companies. Before QRI group, Umut worked for Chevron for 14 years (6 Business Units and Chevron North America Headquarters) in various leadership, technical, and operations roles. Umut also serves as the Managing Director for Tiburon Resources, a boutique advisory firm that provides carbon solutions. Umut holds a B.Sc. in PE from METU, a Masters in PE from Stanford University, and an MBA from the University of Southern California. Umut also holds a graduate-level Sustainability certification from Harvard University.
