Founder and CEO

Flexergy was founded to overcome the key technical constraints to low cost, low carbon hydrogen when and where it is needed. The company is developing what promises to be the world's most efficient and flexible hydrogen compressor which it will provide with a 100% uptime guarantee to its customers. Prior to Flexergy, Paul co-founded innovative compressed air energy storage company Cheesecake Energy, serving as Commercial Director. He has a background in renewable energy in the global copper mining industry with Teck and consultancy for BHP as well as Anglo. Paul holds a B.Eng in Energy Engineering, is a Sustainability Ambassador of the Institute of Directors, and Chairs The Wildlife Information Centre, a biodiversity information charity based in Scotland.
