Vice President of Commercial Development

Nicole Geneau currently leads commercial development for Antora Energy, deploying thermal energy storage systems to decarbonize baseload industrial heat and steam. Previously, Nicole led origination and development for AlphaStruxure, a purpose built joint-venture start-up between Schneider Electric and Carlyle to develop, build, own, operate, maintain microgrid projects under an Energy-As-A-Service model with notable successes including the JFK New Terminal One federated microgrid project delivering chilled water, medium temperature hot water, power and resilience and the Brookville Smart Energy Bus Depot for Montgomery County, Maryland delivering resilient charging infrastructure for transit bus electrification. Prior to AlphaStruxure, Nicole stood up new businesses at the intersection of commercial construction and utility scale renewables construction for Mortenson Construction, establishing new successful operating businesses in fleet electrification and microgrids. At NextEra Energy Resources, Nicole led development of utility scale renewables in Canada, deploying $2.5 Billion in capital across a portfolio of greenfield and acquired wind and solar projects. Nicole is a Sloan Fellow in Innovation and Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management and completed her undergraduate degree at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
