Sanjiv Singh - Chairman of Indian Oil Corporation, the country’s largest commercial enterprise and the top-ranked Indian corporation in the Fortune Global 500 listing. A chemical engineer from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee), Mr. Singh has served the corporation for over 36 years. He became Director of Refineries on the IndianOil Board in 2014 and then Chairman in June 2017. Under his leadership, IndianOil has emerged as India’s second largest petrochemicals player and is mainstreaming LPG as a clean and affordable cooking fuel among the country’s poor. Mr. Singh heads refining subsidiary, Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd., and newly launched Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Ltd., that is setting up three world-scale fertilizer plants. In addition, he is Chairman of Ratnagiri Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd., a joint venture that is constructing the world’s largest refinery-cum-petrochemicals complex. As Chairman of Hydrocarbons Sector Skill Council, an autonomous body of oil and gas industry in India, Mr. Singh is steering skill development initiatives across Indian hydrocarbons industry. He is First Vice President of Paris-based World LPG Association, a member of several prestigious national think tanks. He is currently spearheading bio CNG projects across India, which hold great promise for efficient management of municipal waste and pollution.
