Mike Fowler

Vice President, Business Development, Engineered Systems Division

Mike Fowler is currently Vice President for Business Development in Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America’s Engineered Systems Division. In this role Mr. Fowler leads MHI America’s business development for carbon dioxide capture projects in the United States, including application of the company’s KM CDR Process™ to projects in the electricity and industrial sectors. Previously Mr. Fowler was a Senior Manager for Business Development for MHI America’s Engineered Systems Division and was a director at the energy transition policy think tank Clean Air Task Force. Earlier in his career Mr. Fowler worked in a state regulatory agency, in environmental consulting, and in university research.

Mr. Fowler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from Harvard University, a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a Master of Engineering degree in Nuclear Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
