Twenty-five years working in PETRONAS with experiences in Petrochemical production and marketing and in the last 10 years, focuses on technology upscaling and commercialiSation. Material Science background from UMIST (University of Manchester) and started his involvement in Hydrogen in 2018 on secondment to Sarawak Energy to develop the first H2 production and refuelling station in South East Asia and H2 economic blueprint for Sarawak. Since then, he has taken the role of Head, Green Energy Technology Solution programme in PETRONAS. He has delivered the first H2 pilot facility in Bangi focusing in H2 production for lower cost and higher efficiency electrolyser. Colin also co-authored a paper in Progress in Polymer Science on “An overview of degradable and biodegradable polyolefin.
