Mark Bashforth, Chief Executive Officer, Ikon Science. An innovative and passionate leader, Mark Bashforth is leading Ikon Science's global growth strategy, innovating E&P knowledge management worldwide. Before joining Ikon in 2017, Mark was VP and General Manager, Oil & Gas at the FEI Company. Prior to that, he served as CEO & President at US Seismic Systems where under his leadership, the company successfully commercialized optical downhole seismic systems for micro seismic monitoring. He also served as General Manager of CGG's GeoSoftware Group as well as Managing Director and later President for the Americas for Roxar Inc., a leading solution provider for reservoir management solutions prior to its sale to Emerson. Mark is a graduate of California Lutheran University with a BA in Business Administration and Computer Science. He is an avid sailor and has completed a transatlantic crossing on his sailboat with his two sons.
