Dr. Sebastien Mannai is founder and CEO of Acoustic Wells. Sebastien developed and patented the core technology behind Acoustic Wells during his research at Massachusetts Institute of Technology ("MIT") where he graduated with an MS & PhD from the Aero/Astro department in 2014 and 2018, respectively. Dr. Mannai is also a post-doctoral research associate at MIT working on novel AI-based signal processing and acoustic applications focused on the industrial space. Additionally, he has also conducted research with Schlumberger and Siemens. Prior to MIT, Sebastien received an MS in mechanical engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris and an MS in quantum physics from Paris XI in France. Sebastien holds several patents in the areas of quantum physics and mechanical engineering. His work has been featured in various academic and popular science-focused literature.
