Thomas Soulas is Director Business Development, Advanced Energy Systems, at Siemens Oil & Gas. He is responsible for the development and commercialization of innovative technologies within the product portfolio, including the Echogen supercritical CO2 waste heat recovery solution, the Ener-Core Power Oxidizer system, through licensing agreements and strategic partnerships, as well as the LNGo micro-scale natural gas liquefaction plant. In particular, he leads all the business development activities related to launching of the technologies in the marketplace. Mr. Soulas has been with the company since 2002. He has authored and coauthored several technical papers in the fields of annular seals, bulk-flow analysis, rotor stability testing, hydrostatic bearings, and vibration root cause analysis (including electric motors and generators). Mr. Soulas has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University (2001) and a B.S. in Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Lyon, France (1998). He also has an MBA from Rice University (2009).
