Lisa Cohen, Vice President and Treasurer, Cheniere Energy, Inc., is responsible for project financings, trade finance for the company’s LNG trading business, debt compliance, operational treasury, and insurance. Since joining Cheniere in January 2013, Ms. Cohen has raised $34 billion in project financings in the bank market for Cheniere’s liquefaction and infrastructure projects. She is also a member of the board of directors of the Cheniere Cares Foundation, Cheniere’s primary philanthropic organization. Previously, Ms. Cohen was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Torch Energy, Inc., a Houston-based E&P and Midstream company. Prior to Torch Energy, Ms. Cohen held a variety of strategic planning and finance roles, including with Gulf South Pipeline Company and D’Accord Financial Services, a leveraged lease finance boutique in San Francisco and New York. Ms. Cohen began her career as a financial analyst for the Energy and Project and Lease Finance groups of Kidder, Peabody in New York. Ms. Cohen graduated from the University of Virginia in 1986 and earned an MBA in finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business in 1992.
