Imtiaz Mahtab is currently CEO of AIICO - with the objective to enable the local content development in KSA by industrializing product and services related to Renewable Energy, Gas to Power and Desalinated Water sector in the Kingdom – aligned with vision 2030. Prior to that, Imtiaz had 20 years of international career at Air Liquide, a fortune 500 company and the world’s largest industrial gas company, and held the roles of regional CEOs of Middle-East Africa, Asia Pacific as well as various senior executive leadership positions in energy, environment and high technology sectors across four major continents (America, Europe, MEA and APAC). He was based out of over a dozen countries globally. During his tenure, Air Liquide share had delivered double digit return over 20 years. Imtiaz is a founding, and board members of various non profit organizations (i.e Harvard Business School Alumni club GCC, Harvard Angel Club, Renewable Energy Industry Associations), and sat on the advisory boards of various high-tech start-ups. Imtiaz is a graduate of Harvard Business Schools’ General Management Program, holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
