Joe Zhou is the Chief Executive Officer of Quidnet Energy, which deploys geomechanically pumped hydro for long-duration electricity storage. Prior to Quidnet Energy, Mr. Zhou worked at Green Charge Networks, a California-based energy storage developer that was acquired by Engie in 2016. He started his career as an Associate, working on heavy-industry capital projects at McKinsey, and as a Process Engineer at ExxonMobil. Mr. Zhou holds a BSc from the University of Alberta and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
