Licensing Green Chemistry Manager

Dario Giordano, Green Chemistry Licensing Manager, Versalis, has over 28 years’ experience in the chemical industry and in the licensing business. He joined Mossi and Ghisolfi (M&G) Group in 1990. At M&G, Mr. Giordano had several management responsibilities and covered several positions. He has been Vice President of Research and Development (R&D) and Technology in charge of worldwide R&D and technology activities relevant to both polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and to Green Chemistry. Since 2005 he has been a member of the Executive Committee of M&G Group and has served as Director of several companies. Since April 2015, Mr. Giordano has served as Chief Executive Officer of Beta Renewables S.p.A, leading the licensing activities of proprietary technology (PROESA ®) for the production of second generation ethanol and conversion of biomass to sugar. Following Versalis’ acquisition of M&G Bio Perimeter on 1 November 2018, he joined Versalis and is responsible for licensing activities related to Green Chemistry. Mr. Giordano holds a degree from Turin Polytechnic.
