Lead Division Manager Power Grids Division, North America

Anders Sjoelin is Lead Division Manager for ABB’s Power Grids division in North America. The Power Grids division was formed by merging ABB’s Power Systems and Power Products divisions, creating a unified organization focused on enabling power customers to build a stronger, smarter, and greener grid. Mr. Sjoelin, a native of Sweden, joined ABB in 1991, working in several countries and regions in different management positions, including ABB’s global headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, before moving to the United States in 2004. In January 2016 he assumed the roles of Lead Division Manager North America and Local Division Manager US. Prior to his current role, he served as President of ABB’s Power Systems division in North America. Previously, he held the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager for ABB’s Grid Systems and Substations businesses in North America. Mr. Sjoelin is based in Raleigh, North Carolina, home to ABB’s Power Grids headquarters on the Centennial Campus of North Carolina State University. A graduate of Sweden's University of Lund, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, strategical analysis.
