Ranajit Banerjee is at present Adviser, Strategic Planning and Finance at the DGH where he also heads the new Hydrocarbon Exploration and Licensing Policy (HELP) initiative. He has many years of advisory experience in the oil & gas industry having advised many major upstream, midstream and downstream investments in India and a. At present he is heading the implementation of the Open Acreage Licensing Policy (OALP) at the DGH. He successfully advised DGH in awarding 55 blocks for exploration under the Bid Round I and is now leading the effort on Bid Rounds II and III.
