Ryan Hanna is a post-doctoral researcher in the School of Global Policy and Strategy at the University of California, San Diego. Mr. Hanna conducts research at the intersection of engineering and policy, focusing on grid decentralization and decarbonization. Most recently, he has led a large effort to assess business cases for microgrids and their effect on energy supply-demand and carbon emissions.
