Stacey Doré is CEO of Sharyland Utilities, L.L.C., an electric utility that owns rate-regulated transmission infrastructure in Texas. She also serves as President of Hunt Utility Services, which manages Sharyland and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hunt Consolidated, Inc.  Ms. Doré sets the strategic direction for Sharyland and leads a seasoned team of professionals in operating the company’s electric transmission assets safely and reliably. 

Previously, Ms. Doré was senior vice president and general counsel of publicly-traded InfraREIT, Inc., a real estate investment trust that owned regulated transmission assets in ERCOT. Before that, Ms. Doré spent eight years at Energy Future Holdings Corp. (EFH), most recently serving as executive vice president, general counsel, and chief restructuring officer.  At EFH, she participated in setting the strategic direction for the company and managed all aspects of the largest Chapter 11 restructuring ever filed in Delaware as the company worked out a plan to restructure more than $40 billion in debt.

Before joining EFH, Ms. Doré was a trial lawyer with Vinson & Elkins LLP.  She earned her juris doctorate at Harvard Law School.  She is currently on the board of the Texas Women’s Foundation and Trinity Christian Academy.
