Enrique Hidalgo, President of ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Mexico Company, is responsible for identifying business opportunities in the hydrocarbon sector in Mexico. Mr. Hidalgo joined ExxonMobil in 2003. Prior to his current role, he led various strategic projects as Regional Director for the Americas at ExxonMobil International Government Relations in Washington, DC. He served as Vice President of Corporate Relations at ExxonMobil Mexico and Director of External and Government Affairs for the Americas and Asia in ExxonMobil Exploration Company in Houston. Before joining the company, he was Director for the Americas at Eurasia Group in New York. Mr. Hidalgo is also a member of the board of the Mexican Association of Hydrocarbons Companies (AMEXHI); Vice President of the Executive Council of Global Enterprises (CEEG); Treasurer and board member of the US-Mexico Commission for Educational and Cultural Exchange (COMEXUS); and member of the Mexican Council of International Affairs (COMEXI) and the Council of the Institute for Global Maritime Studies in Massachusetts. Mr. Hidalgo has a degree in international relations from Universidad lberoamericana, and a master’s and doctorate from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
