Thomas Brostrøm

Thomas Brostrøm serves as the President for Ørsted North America and Chief Executive Officer for Ørsted US Offshore Wind. In this role, Mr. Brostrøm oversees North American operations for Ørsted—the global leader in offshore wind. The company encompasses a diverse portfolio of offshore wind projects along the US East Coast. He serves on the board of directors for the American Wind Energy Association, the national trade organization for the US wind industry. Mr. Brostrøm joined Ørsted in Denmark in 2009, where he served in business development, mergers & acquisitions, and later as Head of the Renewables Strategy team. Prior to joining Ørsted, he was in the investment banking and venture capital business. Mr. Brostrøm studied business analysis & valuation, and mergers & acquisitions at Harvard University. He received his master’s degree in finance and international business from Aarhus University in Denmark.
