Technology to Market Advisor
Sam Wurzel currently serves as a Technology-to-Market Advisor at the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E), where he focuses on ARPA-E’s fusion energy portfolio. Sam studied plasma physics in graduate school at the University of Colorado at Boulder before leaving to co-found the electronic component search engine Octopart. After more than a decade in the internet software space, he returned to fusion, starting the Fusion Energy Base website to help investors better evaluate private fusion energy companies before joining ARPA-E in 2021.
