Paola joined CEPSA Trading in 2021 as Head of Market Intelligence for Crude and Products based in Madrid. She is responsible for the floor’s market views, including the outlook across the oil barrel and geopolitical risk. She is particularly focused on advising traders and Directors on new trading ideas and highlighting key market fundamental changes. She always stays on top of the latest developments. Before joining CEPSA Trading, Paola was Vice President of Downstream Services and Product Manager of Oil Market Analytics at Rystad Energy, an independent energy research and business intelligence company, and prior to that Geophysical Engineer at PGS. Paola has an engineering degree in geophysics from USB, an MSc from NTNU, and MA in International Energy from the Sciences Po’s Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA). She works closely with different stakeholders in the industry and is frequently quoted and interviewed on oil and gas topics by several news outlets, specialized publications, and think tanks. Her research and analysis have been quoted +100 times in different media outlets.
