Matias was appointed to his current position of GM Hydrogen Products in Chevron New Energies in October 2021. Prior to this, Matias held the GM Global LNG Origination position for 3 years. Matias joined Chevron in 2000 and since then has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in Angola, Australia, United Kingdom, United States and Venezuela. He has over 25 years of international experience across downstream, midstream and upstream areas with a diversified background in negotiations, business development and joint venture management. Matias received his bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Buenos Aires University and his Master’s in Business Administration from Institute of Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne and Marketing from San Andres University. Matias is married and has three children.
