Andrew Chang is a Managing Director at United Airlines Ventures, a corporate venture fund created by United Airlines to invest in emerging companies and technologies that have potential to influence and advance travel, with a focus on energy sustainability concepts complementing United Airlines’ net zero emissions goal. Prior to joining United, Andrew was an investment banker advising Boards of Directors and management teams on various strategic alternatives, including transaction execution for M&A, restructuring and capital raises. During his 15 years at Lazard, Andrew advised various airline and energy (downstream and oilfield services) clients, and he co-led the launch of Intrepid Financial Partners’ Sustainability and Energy Innovation initiative to support clients’ investments in energy transition. Andrew started his career at Credit Suisse as an Analyst after graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Managerial Studies from Rice University.
