Innovation Agora 2019

We have started to assemble the topics and components of the Innovation Agora @ CERAWeek 2019!

Similar to the 2018 event, programming will again feature interactive sessions in our Agora Studios, intimate conversations with thought leaders in the Voices of Innovation series, and technology deep dives and case studies in the Agora Pods. Watch this space for new programming options as CERAWeek and the Agora continue to evolve and grow for 2019.

The program is being built around 6 Key Themes, which will include several topics including but not limited to those below:

    • Digitalization of energy: Machine learning, artificial intelligence, predictive analytics
    • Advanced manufacturing: Robotics, agile design, additive and borderless manufacturing
    • Mobility and future transport: Battery technology, EVs and AVs, electric charging infrastructure
    • Cities and the built environment: Renewables, resiliency, energy efficiency, density and congestion solutions
    • Blockchain in energy: Peer to peer networks, energy trading, mitigation and control of decentralized generation
    • Future Technology Pathways: Decarbonization, electrification, cybersecurity, communication, and future of work

The Agora this year will be fully located on the third level of the George R. Brown Convention Center, just across the short skywalk from the Hilton Americas Hotel, in Houston, Texas.

CERAWeek passholders are welcome to attend all Innovation Agora sessions, and additional details will be coming soon regarding special Agora Pass options.

We look forward to developing this program further with our Partners and our colleagues, and we welcome your participation in the Innovation Agora @ CERAWeek 2019!
