Dr. Ingmar Ritzenhofen is the Chief Financial Officer at RWE Clean Energy. Previously, Dr. Ritzenhofen was named CFO for RWE Renewables Americas in January 2022. Prior to that role, Dr. Ritzenhofen was Head of Controlling and Risk Management for RWE AG, the parent company of RWE Renewables, where he was responsible for overseeing the financial planning and reporting, valuation and investment, and risk management for RWE’s global, diversified energy portfolio. Before coming to RWE, Dr. Ritzenhofen held several positions at McKinsey & Company, most recently as a Partner for the Energy Sector. His work at McKinsey focused on advising energy companies on issues related to strategy and corporate finance. Dr. Ritzenhofen holds a PhD from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, for which he conducted research jointly with the University of Chicago, a Master of Science in International Business and International Management from HEC Paris, and a Bachelor of Science in International Business from the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. Dr. Ritzenhofen lives in Chicago with his family.
