CEO of SunnyBotics, a technology start-up specialising in the development of products and services for the operations and maintenance (O&M) sector of the photovoltaic solar industry. He is a Colombian engineer with a broad background in the energy sector, with knowledge of both the petroleum industry and renewable energy, particularly solar. He has played a key role in the expansion of the photovoltaic energy sector in Colombia from the private sector, co-founding and leading for many years a pioneering company in the design and construction of residential and commercial solar systems in the country, Sunny App. Now, as CEO of SunnyBotics, he aims to support the expansion of solar energy through technology development. This includes using robotics and AI for efficient operations and maintenance, and working with various sectors, including government and academia, to build national and regional capacity to meet the challenges of the ongoing energy transition.
