Graduate Research Assistant

Sydney Johnson is a second-year Ph.D. student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the Chemical Engineering Practice Program. She is currently a graduate research assistant in the MIT Energy Initiative (MITEI), where she develops and analyzes models of decarbonization strategies for industrial processes via the MITEI Sustainable Energy System Analysis Modelling Environment (SESAME). Previously, Sydney graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Sydney is passionate about sustainability and equity in education and plans to incorporate both into future roles.
