Vice President & Head of the Americas

Steve is Vice President and Head of the Americas for the Alliance to End Plastic Waste located in Texas, USA. Steve also serves as the strategic and policy advisor to the President and CEO and leads initiatives and organisational processes and heads the Alliance’s operations for the Americas. Prior to this role, Steve was Vice President & Chief of Staff based in the Singapore headquarters. Steve was a catalyst in the formation of the Alliance. He has been engaged in Alliance activities since its formal launch in 2019. Steve brings with him a strong international background in consumer brands across the entire value chain, having spent more than 28 years at the Procter & Gamble Company. His career at P&G spanned both technical and management roles in process development, product supply operations and upstream material development. In his last role, Steve led P&G’s global plastic strategy for all business units. He has held board positions with organisations like the Closed Loop Fund and the Recycling Partnership and is currently a director on the board of the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF - US EPA).
