Energy Transition Director, Americas

Mr. Shane Foster has more than 15 years of experience working in the energy industry, and in 2020 joined Gunvor Group, where he serves as Energy Transition Director for the Americas. As part of the Energy Transition team at Gunvor, Mr. Foster is part of Nyera, Gunvor’s wholly owned subsidiary designated to invest at least 10% of Gunvor’s net equity into the Energy Transition space. Prior to joining Gunvor, he held various trading positions at Noble Americas, Trafigura and BTG (now Engelhart), as well founding, managing, and co-owning a diesel importation business in Peru. Mr. Foster holds a B.A. in Economics and History from Dartmouth College.
