Savvas Manousos became the EVP for Trading and member of the Management Committee on 1st Jan 2022. He leads the teams in Madrid and Singapore responsible for asset back trading and optimization of crude, products, biofuels, bunkers and Gas & Power along with the Risk, Finance, HR, Legal, IT and Control functions. Previously he worked in Copenhagen for nearly six years as Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Trading at Maersk Oil Trading, one of the world’s largest traders of bunker fuel. Between 2012 – 2016 he worked in Mumbai as Global President of Trading for Reliance Industries after having spent more than 22 years at BP, where he achieved significant business success in various management positions across the areas of trading, refining and strategy. With a degree in Business Computing Systems from the City University of London, Savvas has a broad international background, as well as extensive experience in leading teams and managing change.
