Principal Research Analyst
Sara Giordano is a Principal Research Analyst at S&P Global, Climate and Sustainability – Energy and Climate Scenarios, supporting clients with research and analysis on the challenges and opportunities of the energy transition. She has 10 years of international experience in the field of climate change, with technical expertise of climate policy and low-carbon pathways. Prior to joining S&P Global through its acquisition of IHS Markit, Sara worked at the European Climate Foundation, where she focused on climate financial risks and the implementation of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) recommendations, in close cooperation with the investor community and the civil society. She has also other work experiences in the clean energy sector and international organizations, such as the European Union and the United Nations. Sara holds master’s degrees in international relations and in international business. She also holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from LUISS Guido Carli University.
